Ziegler Fire Clay Grenache

Ziegler, meaning “Brickmaker”, was the name of one of the first German families to settle in South Australia's Barossa Valley. Like many settlers in the New Land, the Ziegler family discovered that the Barossa's rich, clay loam soils were perfect for creating bold, powerful wines. Named for “Fire Clay” bricks that are specially designed to withstand high temperatures, Grenache thrives in the warm climate of the Barossa Valley. Aromatic with vibrant intensity,  this Grenache is full-bodied with fragrant red cherries and soft tannins.
