Yarrabank is a joint venture between French champagne house Devaux and Yering Station. 44% Pinot Noir, 1% Pinot Noir as a red wine, 55% Chardonnay made by traditional bottle fermentation. Red fruits to the fore, the length and balance are delicious, and the wine is fresh. The nose is bright fresh citrus melon notes with a hint of strawberry fruit. Toasty fresh baked bread adds to the complexity. The palate has a long and lively mouth feel with fine bubbles, tight acidity and great texture providing a crisp, dry finish with strong persistence.
