Made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the two major varieties traditionally used in sparkling wine. The fruit from this vineyard displays a natural acid balance with flavours that develop early while sugar levels are still low. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir combine well to create a light and fresh sparkling wine. The nose has fine aromas of yeast and biscuit dough that flow seamlessly onto a palate that offers plenty of crisp Chardonnay flavour. The wine has a creamy texture, generous fruit and fresh acid on the finish, which helps to create balance and refresh the palate – just the way the Tyrrell family likes it.
