Spinning Top Wines reflect the simple pleasures that can be derived from nature. The wines are made with a low sulphur regime, using wild yeast and lees ageing when appropriate, and the occasional use of oak. A playful twist on New Zealand wine, Spinning top has a hands off approach to hand made wines. Individuality in every drop. This pinot gris is a medium, yellow straw colour. The nose has enticing aromas showing ripe pear, fresh stone fruit, and a candied note. The palate is full with a luscious, generous texture with a balanced structural element.
