Dark ruby, clear & bright. Lifted aromas of mulberries, dark cherries and pulped raspberry flesh are supported by brief, fleeting glimpses of river stone and earthy spice. A sense of fineness and control hints at the age and quality of fruit. Flavours of dark bramble fruit and spice provide some early mouth-filling texture. These persist and are seamlessly enveloped and supported as they travel through the mouth by a superfine tannin frame working around and with the fruit to ensure genuine balance and controlled focus on the palate. Bright and tight in its youth.
