Peregrine's Saddleback Pinot Gris is sourced from the Cromwell basin and Gibbston sub-regions of Central Otago. Individual vineyard lots were kept separate to retain fruit characters before the wine spent time on yeast lees to add extra mouthfeel and complexity. The result is a classic Central Otago Pinot Gris made in a style where maintaining fruit freshness was paramount.
