La Boheme Act One Riesling
Opera Singer and Yarra Valley diva, Dame Nellie Melba played the part of Mimi in La Boheme based in the Latin Quarter of Paris in the 1880s There were four acts in the opera the last ending as usual in tragedy. European-style Riesling with some texture and flavour is one of our very favourite food wines. A little residual sugar and balanced acidity seem to wash pan-fried Whiting down well.
