Burgundian winemakers used to plant this variety of peach in the middle of their vineyards in order to prevent certain diseases that attacked the vines. Today, the fruit selected for the production of Joseph Cartron Creme de Peche de Vigne are grown on land neighboring the Hautes Cotes de Bourgogne vineyard. These small peaches with white flesh marbled with pink bring to this fruit cream its beautiful golden color as well as an aromatic power without equivalent.
