20th Anniversary Grenache Mataro Shiraz

Names as a tribute to the early Barossa Lutheran Pioneers, many of whom traditionally carried the first name of Johann. Barossa growers traditionally referred to their vineyard as their garden. It is produced from low-yielding, old, gnarled, dry-grown vines consisting of 70% Grenache, 25% Mataro (Mourvedre), and 5% Shiraz from selected vineyards in the Barossa. This spicy Barossa blend is based on fruit from mature Grenache vines. Ripe plum aromas jump out of the glass and the palate is rich and fruity with velvety tannins providing a lingering finish.
