Purple colour. An intense nose dominated by peach and apricot with liquorice and notes of undergrowth. The palate is generous, robust, and full-bodied with a long, elegant finish. A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre from 40-year-old vines grown on ancient alluvial soils with red clay and gravel. The hand-picked fruit undergoes extended maceration before being pressed into oak foudres, with 50% of the barrels being new oak, for a two-year maturation period.
