Magnificent colour featuring an impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark red-black hue. Elevated red to black currant aromas infused with bay leaf are trailed by light dusty vanillin cedar and tobacco notes. Rich blackcurrant and mulberry fruits flood the front half of the medium to full-bodied palate with bay leaf, toasty vanillin cedar, and spicy tobacco characters poking through on the back half. A sturdy tannin structure and fresh acidity lead to a solid built aftertaste.
