Cadenhead Glentauchers 10 Year Old bottled in 2021 at 46% will make a fine addition to any Single Malt whisky collection. This expression was aged in an interesting mix of 50% Bourbon, 25% Manzanilla, and 25% Oloroso. The American oak brings vanilla, almonds, and cream, rich fruits from the oloroso sherry oak, and crisp, dry salty tones from the Manzanilla sherry... the overall effect is truly intriguing. Dessert notes and hints of dried fruit are present throughout along with malted rye bread, and sticky toffee pudding. Crème brulée, golden raisins, fruit, and nut chocolate on the finish. 1/1320 bottles.
