Matured for 18 months in French oak barriques. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced ripe red to black currant and mulberry aromas mixed with some red liquorice, cedary tobacco characters, light earth and bay leaf notes. Medium to full in body, elegance yet still boldly flavoured with red to black currant and mulberry fruits dominant over a cedary tobacco, subtle stalky earth and bay leaf backdrop. Polished tannins finish with good freshness and a long savoury aftertaste.
