A Kentucky straight bourbon finished in port wine barrels for six months - a modern and unique take on American whiskey. Since its release in 2011, Angel's Envy continues to create a splash have become highly sought after by drinkers and collectors, generating thousands of blog and social media posts. Arriving in Australia in very limited quantities, it was initially only available through bars but The Oak Barrel is proud to be one of the hand-selected retailers now able to offer it. A  Kentucky straight bourbon aged for up to six years is finished in ex-port casks for up to six months. It creates a whiskey that is not only rich and smooth, but multi-faceted and layered. Batches are between 8 and 12 barrels. Created by Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson and his son Wes, Angel's Envy opened the doors to its own distillery in Louisville in 2016.
