Screaming texture on first sip, then feels like an aeroplane at take-off as the fruits springboard along the tongue. Poised and persistent is the order of the day, excellent purity and drive, yet somehow still stays amazingly light on its feet. Powerful tannins round out this remarkable wine; they are just so fruit-driven, with a lovely twist on the late palate that gives you a nice salty, drying tang. In its infancy, it has much more stored in the tank.
