
Mukai Shuzo Kyo No Haru Nigori Sake 720ml
Mukai shuzo is a tiny brwery with an exceptionally long history. Having been founded in 1754, it is still a family run business. The current Toji (Master Brewer) is Kuniko Mukai who is eldest daughter of the family. Kuniko was one of the first women Master Brewers in Japan at the young age of 22. She is an exceptionally creative brewer who makes sake that are unique to her style. This Nigori (Cloudy) sake is made using technique that once fermentation is finished the sake is pressed clear and then sediment from that ferment is added back into the brew. A rich textural Nigori showing a perfect balance of flavour and mouthfeel with a fine acidic backbone and long elegant finish.
