In 1816, Chief John Ross established a trading post, warehouse and swing ferry on the banks of the Tennessee River, giving people around the region a place to meet each other, conduct business and build a community. Ross's landing soon became Chattanooga, which grew to become the Dynamo of Dixie. Using a pre-prohibition mash bill offering a highly refined and exquisitely smooth flavour profie, the 1816 Reserve embodies what was once the finest hand-crafted whiskey made in Chattanooga a century ago.
