Grown on clay and limestone in the village of Chaintré, Loché, and Milly-Lamartine. Stainless steel vats are used for vinification. After fermentation, the wine is aged on fine lees for 6 months to add complexity before bottling in spring. A pure expression of Chardonnay from the limestone soil. Aromas of white flowers and white stonefruit with lovely freshness on the palate. Hints of undergrowth and hazelnut, slightly buttery with a generously round, acidic finish. Aging potential 1 to 3 years.
