Highland Park 12-Year-Old reflects the unique culture of the distilleries' remote island home here on Orkney. Part of Scotland, yes, but it originally belonged to a vast Viking kingdom. Highland Park honours the spirit of their Viking ancestors, sharing their pride, integrity and fierce independence, and they distil this award-winning whisky to the same exacting standards introduced in 1798 by founder Magnus Eunson, a descendant of those early Viking settlers. This single malt has a natural colouring of glowing amber. Heather-honey sweetness, gentle peaty smokiness aromas. Rounded smoke and honey sweetness palate with full malt delivery. Oak, alongside equal amounts of dried fruits and spice. It has a sweet and lingering finish with heathery notes and subtle smoke right at the end.
