Still a youthful nose with some new oak, ripe fruit like berries, mild spices, tobacco, and some chalky notes. The palate is dense and concentrated with high extract, yet a fine polish with refreshing acidity underneath, elegant blackberry and cassis flavours leading to a long finish A finely crafted wine still needs some time to soften and reach its full potential. This is a great example of a delicious everyday Bordeaux, sure to please fans of the style.
