Aperol is bright orange in appearance, with a lightly alcoholic, zesty orange nose. On the palate, it is intense orange topped with herbal and woody body notes and pleasantly bittersweet and salty notes of rhubarb. The finish is herbal, long-lasting, pleasant, and with a slight bitterness. For your Aperol Spritz, the generally accepted ratio is equal parts Aperol and Prosecco plus a splash of club soda. However, you can play around with the ratio until your Aperol spritz tastes exactly the way you like it. We like ours with a little more Prosecco than Aperol.
